RoRo (Roll-on/Roll-off) is a shipping method where wheeled cargo — cars, trucks, heavy equipment — is driven directly onto the vessel at the departure port and driven off at the destination, using the vehicle's own wheels rather than cranes or shipping containers. RoRo is the most common and most affordable method for importing standard passenger cars from China, because loading and unloading is fast and it's available on nearly every major shipping route from China to Africa, the Middle East, and Europe.
